Guests'reviews from the Tripadvisor

I booked my track from Sophat (Tours) and i didn't regret for a second.
i'm travelling for a long time and that's was one of my best tracks I've done.

we did 1 night in the jungle (next to a waterfall) and 1 night in the village. we had 2 guides (one from the village and another one that speaks English) they were friendly, helpful, explain a lot, translate all the time for us and just take care of everything that we needed. we walked everyday between 3-4 hours in the beautiful jungle, and when we got to the home-stay we felt like we were the only tourist over there and it was really interesting to learn about different life.
I can't explain in words how much i appreciate them for the authentic and incredible experience iv'e been throw.

Thank you all again!!

  • I've arrived to Backpackers pad by mistake, my friend and i searched for a place with veg food and a place to arrange a trip to the jungle. it's a great place for both , the place is perfect for solo travelers. cheap and great value for your money.
  • Simple but decent accomodation, very tasty food & the best trekking I've ever done ! "Adventure to the south": a 5 day Tour across the forest, including fishing, hunting, collecting fruits and vegetables in the wild forest, sleeping in hammocks in the wild, at the house of the village chief and in a pagoda, eating delicious food cooked in fire, grilked fresh and dried fish and drunk Palm wine & rice wine ! Stated in Ban Lung & ended in Sen Monorom, so much Better thank just taking a minivan ! Go for it !!!

  • This hostel is a good hostel it may not be perfect but what do u expect for the price. People have said there are Mosquitos everywhere I did not have that problem at all. The food is good (especially the spring rolls soo good). The owner is really friendly I don't understand why people say he's not, he's one of the most friendly hostel owners ive met so far in 2 months. Also he organises treks from here which I can recommend, I went on a 3 day 2 night trek through the jungle, sleeping next to a river then in a jungle village. It was a great experience I'm glad I did it from here, it was well organised and the guide spoke very good english so no problems with it at all. Overall I would say this is a good place to stay for the price and the atmosphere, environment, trekking and hospitality.
